COPPELL, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jul. 27, 2016--
Mannatech®,
Incorporated (NASDAQ: MTEX), a global health and wellness company
committed to transforming lives to make a better world, announced it has
named Roger Hsueh as general manager of its operations in Hong Kong and
Taiwan where he will support Mannatech’s rapidly expanding growth in
Asia.
Hsueh’s appointment is part of Mannatech’s strategy to strengthen its
leadership position in Asia as it anticipates opening operations as an
e-commerce provider in Mainland China later this year. Hsueh’s
appointment will help support sales, marketing and logistics efforts
around the company’s expansion into China as an e-commerce seller.
“Roger is a great addition to our team and we are honored to have him
lead our offices in Hong Kong and Taiwan,” said Patrick Park,
Mannatech’s Regional President, Asia. “He has a proven history of
helping companies reach greater heights and opportunities. I know that
he is committed to helping our independent sales Associates achieve
their goals and transform their lives and those around them. Roger is an
important addition to the team that will help support Mannatech’s
continued success in Asia.”
For Mannatech, Hsueh will play a key role in providing strategic and
operational leadership and execution as well as re-alignment of
partnerships with leaders in Asia. He is an experienced and dynamic
leader who has a proven track record of successfully working in the
Taiwan and China markets for 30 years. Hsueh’s experience includes
successfully leading direct selling companies as well as launching Avon
Cosmetics’ new image in Taiwan and establishing 270 of its beauty
boutiques and 22 flagship stores that resulted in a 50 percent annual
sales growth.
“Roger’s experience will contribute to the overall development and
growth of our customer-base and provide consistency in the Greater China
Region,” said Park. “Asia is a critical region for Mannatech and adding
Roger and his skills gives us a better opportunity to create a brighter
future for the company and customers.”
Hsueh has a reputation for leading by example and for inspiring team
success. He will leverage his experience to provide strategic and
operational leadership as well as organizational and people development
skills at Mannatech to help reach the company’s objectives.
Prior to joining Mannatech, Hsueh worked with Erina, Wynlife Healthcare
and Avon Cosmetics. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business
administration and management from Chun Yuan Christian University in
